Chad & Jen were some of the coolest people I've ever hung out with at a wedding! There wedding turned out great, and their video was truly awesome, a big part because of Prem & Cheridy of Arising Images Photography. They are truly phenomenal artists and we had fun inspiring each other all day long with different shot ideas!


We spent the first part of the day shooting in Downtown Mt. Clemens, which has a lot of unique structures and is actually quite beautiful. Chad & Jen saw each other downtown for the first time that day, and got married at St. Peter Catholic Church right in Mt. Clemens.

Their Reception was at the Italian American Center at Partridge Creek. It was a great day, a great night, and a very inspiring event. Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

Rocky Concept Video

Tyler and Jen Adair's wedding was a knockout!!!



They got married on June 28th, and had their Reception at Barrister Gardens. Both of them are amateur fighters, and to the surprise of their guests at the wedding, they showed this video at their Reception!!!

The reaction in the room was outstanding, as no one was expecting anything like that! JD Entertainment is THE ONLY Video company in Michigan that produces these "Concept Videos." And nothing makes your Reception more memorable!

Andrew & Andrea had an awesome wedding, it was amazing to be a part of a celebration filled with so much love and "joy!" They had a number of live singers at their Ceremony, and their Reception, and it made their wedding truly unique!

"The Greatest"

In between editing Wedding Videos, we sometimes find time to produce other projects. This video stars my nephew, Giovanni Santilli, age 2. It is a music video to the Kenny Rogers song "The Greatest", and from the moment I heard it a few years back, I immediately wanted to produce this video with Giovanni!

I finally produced it just in time for his mommy's birthday (my sister-in-law Julie). In just 2 days on youtube, it had over 200 views!

Angela & Louis Sail Into the Sunset

This latest wedding post is an example of everything going right. It was the perfect type of weather on such a perfect day. Angela looked beautiful and from Louis’ reaction, he seemed to realize how lucky he was to have her as his bride.

The location was Jefferson Beach Marina on the Infinity Yacht. The breeze, the sun and the water just complemented the energy and emotion of their day. We were honored to have been able to meet such great people and capture such a beautiful wedding.

More Awards for Video Production!

For the 4th consecutive year, JD Entertainment has been awarded for Video Production by the Aegis Awards!!!!

A national competition, the Aegis Awards are handed out by peers in our industry, and we are very proud to have achieved this honor again in 2008. It confirms our commitment to quality, consistency, and leading the Wedding Video Industry in Metro-Detroit!

We received 2 trophies again this year, for the Wedding of Steve & Dawn Vogel, and for the Wedding of Luke & Trisha Bien.

The Wedding of Steve & Dawn Vogel has now won two separate awards, having previously won an Aurora Award (see down the blog).

As always, we are even more honored that these couples chose us to share in their special day, and it is nice that we can share this additional honor with them. We look forward to the other many "award-worthy" couples out there looking for the best of the best in DJ & Video Production!!!

Vinh & Serena's Wedding

Here's a clip of a wedding our editor Jeff just finished, from Vinh & Serena Nguyen. They had a lovely, traditional Ceremony at their house, followed by a service at St. Dennis Church in Madison Heights.

They capped their night off at one of my favorite Reception Halls, Cherry Creek Golf Club & Banquet Center.

JD Entertainment Wins Aurora Award for Video Production

JD Entertainment Video has been awarded a Gold Award for the production of Steve & Dawn Vogel's Wedding!

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest-quality Videos in the Metro-Detroit area, and it is really nice to get national recognition for our work.

Videos are judged by industry professionals in the categories of Execution, Content, and Creativity. We received stellar ranks in all 3 categories, earning the award.

We of course give most, if not all, of the credit to Dawn & Steve who had a spectacular wedding, and provided us with an opportunity to really showcase ourselves. This award kicks off the 2008 Awards season, and a number of our other Videos are being reviewed.

This award makes it 4 straight years that we have earned national recognition for our Wedding Video Production, having won over 6 Aegis & Pegasus Awards. We will continue to deliver trend-setting, artistic Videos in 2008 and beyond. Again, huge thanks to the Brides, Grooms, and families that have given us such wonderful recognition!!!!
